3 Fall/Winter 2019 Mommy Must-Haves

November 10, 2019 by No Comments

It’s November but it’s already freezing out. And the Daylight Savings shift did not inspire my pookie to sleep in. So before the holiday gifting season is fully upon us, I’m already treating myself to:

1. Celebrity status skincare

When the weather changes, my “Sunday Self Care” routine turns into a 24/7 regimen. And I always tend to use the first 30 degree day as an excuse to splurge on a few hydrating products. This year’s indulgence in celebrity status skincare is all thanks to Erno Laszlo. The iconic skincare brand was a favorite of Marilyn Monroe and my very own *iconic* grandmother. So I was excited to try the hydrating line. And I’m pleased to report that my newest – and honest – obsession is Erno Laszlo’s Hydra-Therapy Boost Serum. This new hydrating oil serum hybrid was a gift – but I will be restocking the second it runs out. It is the only serum I’ve been able to apply twice a day. It goes on seamlessly under make up and has kept my skin feeling clean, hydrated, and glowing.

Note: The above scrunchie came with Erno Laszlo’s set of hydrating products. And the pendant is a one-of-a-kind find from Noah’s IG Shop. It’s a Sagittarius star sign situation that helps to round out the aforementioned celebrity status…

2. Sweaters with a shmush factor

There’s nothing wrong with embracing the “adorable” and being a bit of a basic parent on occasion. I might be abusing my parental privilege and dual role as a fashion stylist to my 15-month old son, but he hasn’t complained yet. So this month, I’m stocking up on sweaters with teddy bear ears and other unnecessarily cute fall/winter necessities.

3. Specs of gold

Warmer metallic tones always keep my seasonal woes at bay. And this year, I’m indulging in a few unexpected specs of gold. Cue the shopping cart filled with Gold Barettes, Gold Wine Chillers, & Gold Statement Earrings.
